The Importance of Take-Home Papers

I used to think take-home papers were a waste of money. After all, most of them end up in the trash without ever getting a glance. Then one day someone made the comment that this may be the only opportunity you have to get the Word of God into the homes of some of these children. A parent may not necessarily get saved, but seeds are being planted. God promises that His Word will not return void.

Make sure you give your students something to take home with God's Word on it. It may be as simple as an index card with a memory verse. Take every opportunity you have to get the Bible into the homes of your students.

  1. Yes! I had often thought the same thing. Look how much money the Church would save each year. But how can we compare the cost of paper to a SOUL being SAVED! I know the papers may be accumulating in a landfill somewhere, but if just 1 lost soul pauses to look it over then I have accomplished what I set out to do. Share the GOSPEL. I love my Preschool SS class. :) God bless you and what you are doing on this site.
